How to install Wazuh on Ubuntu 24.04

You need a user with sudo privileges. Then run the following commands:


sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade -y
sudo apt update && sudo apt install -y curl apt-transport-https unzip wget libcap2-bin software-properties-common lsb-release gnupg2
curl -sO https://packages.wazuh.com/4.8/wazuh-install.sh
chmod 744 wazuh-install.sh
sudo bash ./wazuh-install.sh -a

These commands will update your package list, install the necessary dependencies, download the installation script, give it executable permissions, and then run the installation. After installation is complete, you will need to open a web browser to finish the setup.
